Construction Career days Tuesday and Wednesday 10/27 and 10/28

On Tuesday and Wednesday, October 27th and 28th, we will be volunteering to teach high school students about the construction industry. The event will start in the morning and run until approximately lunchtime.

Landshark Stadium Fundraiser Sunday 10/25

We will be working the concession stands at Landshark Stadium this Sunday, October 25th. The game starts at 4:15 but we are leaving from the ASCE office by 11 am. The dress code is black dress pants, black dress shoes, and a plain white t-shirt. (a black visor will be provided) Please remember the dress code is very strict and must be followed to be allowed to work.

Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers (CAACE) Scholarship

The Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers is once again offering its annual Jose A.Vila Scholarship. The scholarship goes to a civil engineering student who is either a junior or senior of Cuban or Hispanic heritage. The final day to apply is Friday, October 16th by 5:00 p.m. Information on the scholarship and the application can be found by clicking the link below. ASCE Meeting Thursday at 7:30pm in MEA 202

There is an ASCE meeting this Thursday Sept 10th at 7:30pm in MEA 202. We will have food, announcements and sign-ups for fun stuff coming up.  Feel free to come late if you get out of class at 7:40. Think about if you are interested in being an officer for Spring 2010 (just one semester).  We will have elections on September 24th. Thursday's meeting would be a good time to announce if you want to run for president.  Nominations will be open until September 18th.
