This Week in ASCE
Tomorrow, April 10th, at 6:30 pm, FIU will be hosting a Career Guidance Seminar at their
FIU Engineering Campus in room EC 3665. The title of this event speaks for itself; come to this seminar to gain knowledge on career paths in engineering.
Next, on Wednesday, April 11th, the department will be having a CAE Roundtable, in the CAE Conference room. Come to this event to learn about new and upcoming events in the department and to discuss the department with Dr. Nanni.
Finally, UM-ASCE will be holding its Officer Elections Thursday, April 12th, 7:40 pm, in MEB 304.

This Week in ASCE
Hope classes are going well for everyone this semester, but if they
aren't, ASCE has a couple events going on this week to get your mind
off of those classes. Firstly, on Thursday, we will be having a work day
for the conference competitions. This is a great opportunity for
everyone going to conference to find competitions to participate in.
Even if you don't know what you want to help with
or you don't think you know enough to help, we can use everyone's help
no matter what experience level; conference is a great place to learn.
So...
Conference Meeting
Thursday, February 9th
Where: MEB 104 (ASCE Office)
When: 7:30pm
Then, on Friday, we will be having Fridays at T.G.I. Friday's (On
U.S. 1 across from campus). Come socialize with your fellow ASCE members
and enjoy dinner, appetizers, or just drinks. So join us to de-stress
after a long week of classes.

Homecoming Tailgate

Time and Place: TBD
For homecoming, ASCE will be hosting a tailgate for members. Enjoy Food and Refreshments before the 3:30pm homecoming game.
The time and Place are still in limbo, but we will be sure to let everyone know both as soon as possible.
So we hope to see as many people as possible at these events this week.

Kimley-Horn Meeting
Hey guys,
So this Thursday Kimley-Horn will be presenting to UM-ASCE. Among
the topics will be Kimley-Horn's current projects and what a consulting
engineer does. Bring Your Resumes, as this is a great networking opportunity for you.. If that doesn't get you excited, this will: Big Cheese
will be provided. So whether you want to learn about the operations of a
consulting firm or just want to eat some Big Cheese, there's something
for you. SO BE THERE!
