Homecoming Tailgate
Saturday, Nov. 5th
Time and Place: TBD
For homecoming, ASCE will be hosting a tailgate for members. Enjoy Food and Refreshments before the 3:30pm homecoming game.
The time and Place are still in limbo, but we will be sure to let everyone know both as soon as possible.
So we hope to see as many people as possible at these events this week.

Kimley-Horn Meeting
Hey guys,
So this Thursday Kimley-Horn will be presenting to UM-ASCE. Among
the topics will be Kimley-Horn's current projects and what a consulting
engineer does. Bring Your Resumes, as this is a great networking opportunity for you.. If that doesn't get you excited, this will: Big Cheese
will be provided. So whether you want to learn about the operations of a
consulting firm or just want to eat some Big Cheese, there's something
for you. SO BE THERE!

3rd General Meeting 10/6/11
So this Thursday, we will be having our 3rd General Meeting. Among
the topics on the agenda Thursday are updates on the Canoe and Steel
Bridge teams for Conference 2012 and the new CAD workshops ASCE will be
offering in the near future. If none of those topics interest you, then
just come for the Pizza and (wait for it... wait for it...) Ice Cream!!!!

Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers (CAACE) Scholarship
The
Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers is once again offering
its annual Jose
A. Vila Scholarship. The scholarship goes to a civil engineering student
who is either a junior or senior of Cuban or Hispanic heritage. The
final day to apply is fast approaching. Information on the scholarship
